Common questions
My AI FrontDesk number isn't answering
First, open the mobile app or the dashboard and check the Home screen — if your business phone is blank, setup isn't finished. If the number is listed but calls don't route, email us with the number and the time of the last attempted call and we'll check the Telnyx Voice AI path.
Why did the AI escalate a call it should have handled?
Escalations are deliberately conservative — we'd rather you get a call you could have skipped than miss a booking. Tap the escalation in the Inbox tab to see why the AI flagged it. If the reason is a missing service in your catalog, add it to Settings → Business and the AI will start taking that job type next call.
Can I change what the AI says?
Yes — but inside guardrails. You can edit your greeting, service list, pricing hints, escalation rules, and business hours from Settings. The recording-disclosure sentence at the start of every call is fixed for Florida two-party-consent compliance.
How do I cancel?
Settings → Billing → Manage billing on web takes you to the Stripe Customer Portal where you can cancel at any time. Cancellation ends the subscription at the end of your current billing period; metered per-booking charges for that period are billed on the final invoice.
Can I delete my call history?
Yes. Email privacy@aifrontdesk.org from the address on your account and tell us whether you want specific calls deleted or the full account wiped. We confirm within one business day.
Where are my recordings stored?
Recordings live on Telnyx's secure storage, keyed by your business ID. We store the URL only, not the audio blob. Retention defaults to 90 days (365 on Pro); after your retention window elapses, our daily pruner nulls the recording URL and transcript on our side. Call summaries, intent, outcome, and duration are kept for analytics.
The app crashed
Crashes are automatically reported to us via Sentry (no personal data, just stack traces and your account ID). If you'd like to describe what you were doing when it happened, reply to this page by email and we'll match it up with the crash report.
