We built it because we got tired of missing the phone.
AI FrontDesk is a 24/7 AI receptionist built for Florida solo-operator businesses — pool techs, handymen, barbers, and hair stylists. It picks up on the first ring, talks like a human, books jobs to your Google Calendar, and texts the customer to confirm. No contract. Cancel any time during the 60-day pilot.
Don't take our word for it. Pick up your phone and call this number. You'll talk to our pilot AI receptionist for Reyes Pools. It will book you a (fake) pool service. Yes, the call is recorded — it'll tell you so.

THE STORY
Small businesses miss half their calls. We built the receptionist they couldn't afford.
I'm Carlos. I run Republic Publishing LLC out of Eustis, Florida. I started AI FrontDesk in early 2026 after watching every small-business owner I know run the same play: they hire one office person, that person quits, the phone starts going to voicemail, the calendar starts going dark.
The honest math: a real receptionist runs $3,000–$4,500 a month, plus a desk, plus payroll tax, plus benefits. A one-truck pool service or a single-chair barber can't carry that on top of running the actual business. So they don't. And then they lose customers to whichever competitor picked up.
Voice AI got good enough in 2026 to do this work — and good enough that the caller usually doesn't notice. Telnyx bundles the whole stack at five cents a minute. We pass that math straight through. Solo operators pay a flat $99 a month; shops with a crew pay $249 a month plus $5 per booked job. That's it.
Our AI line answered our pilot client's phone for the first time on April 19, 2026. It hasn't missed a call since.
HOW WE WORK
Three things make this work at this price.
Most of them are unglamorous. None of them are accidents.
One vertical, one voice
A different AI receptionist for each trade — Cindy on the pool line, Joe on the handyman line, Emma at the salon. Each one knows the booking patterns and language of its trade. Generic voice AI sounds robotic; vertical-tuned voice AI sounds like the office person you wish you'd hired.
Compliance baked in, not bolted on
Florida is a two-party-consent state. Every greeting opens with 'this call is recorded for quality and training' before any substance. Every greeting tells the caller they're talking to AI. Most competitors don't even know FL is two-party. We ship it standard.
The system runs itself
Onboarding emails, billing, dunning, support, escalations, calendar sync, recording retention, data exports — all autonomous. The founder owns three things: refunds over $500, legal questions, and new spend over $1,000 a month. Everything else is built to run without us. That's the only way the price stays honest.
WHERE WE ARE
Built in Eustis. Serving every shop that picks up our line.
Republic Publishing LLC is a Florida limited liability company. We registered with the FCC, the IRS, and the carriers (10DLC) before we took our first call. Our pilot clients are in Mount Dora, Tavares, and Eustis. We're starting local on purpose — every problem with phones, calendars, and small-business workflows compounds when you scale state by state. Florida is a great proving ground; once it works cleanly here, the same system works anywhere a small-business owner needs help answering the phone.

security@aifrontdesk.orgWHAT WE DON'T DO
Things we deliberately said no to.
We don't track you across the internet. The only telemetry on the marketing site is Sentry crash reporting — and Sentry has session replay turned off. Read the cookie policy if you want the receipts.
Cancel from your dashboard in two taps. We surface a few alternatives — pause, downgrade, free month — because some of those genuinely save customers. None of them block the cancel button.
$249 or $449 a month. $5 or $4 per booked job. That's the whole bill. No setup fee, no per-minute fee, no per-SMS fee. You get a metered booking line on every Stripe invoice so you can audit the count.
The system can dial outbound. We've turned that off everywhere except the AI calling its own owner during onboarding. No telemarketing on this stack — TCPA risk is real and the product isn't worth that.
STILL HERE?
Most pages stop reading at "About." If you got this far, go ahead and call.
Three minutes on the phone with our pilot AI tells you more than any landing page ever could. Mention "I read the about page." It won't get the joke, but it'll book you anyway.
